Mid-century houses, downtown cottages, and newer two-stories in the south valleys are all here. Some have basements or crawl spaces. Many newer ones are on slabs. Reno baths sit in the Truckee Meadows, in older downtown houses and in newer south-valley builds. Winters are cold and dry compared with a Gulf city. The failures are still leaks, fans, and tired surrounds.
